Minimum Services of Funeral Director & Staff: $1,895.00
This fee is for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, & forwarding & receiving remains) This fee includes the following;

A. Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to initial call.
B. Arrangement conference.
C. Coordinating service plans with cemetery, crematory, and/or other parties involved in the final disposition.
D. Clerical assistance in the completion of various forms & permits associated with a funeral.
E. Overhead expenses including but not limited to facility maintenance, equipment and inventory costs, insurance & administration expenses & governmental compliance. Preparation of Remains:

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.

Use of facilities & staff for funeral service in our funeral home chapel. $550.00
Staff & equipment for funeral service to be held in church or other place of worship or other place other than our funeral home. $550.00
Staff & equipment for funeral service to be held at the graveside only. $450.00
Use of our facilities for memorial service. $425.00

Transportation: 1. Transfer remains from place of death to the funeral home within 35 mile radius.
(Additional mileage is charged a rate of $3.00 per loaded mile.) $205.00

Forwarding Remains to another Funeral Home;
This fee includes removal of remains, (1/2 of the minimum services of funeral director & staff charge), embalming, & other preparation of remains & transportation to Birmingham airport. $2,138.00

Receiving remains from another funeral home;
This includes ½ of the minimum charge of the funeral director & staff charge, transportation from Birmingham airport, transportation to local cemetery. This fee does not include visitation or funeral services either at the funeral home or place of worship. $1,367.00


Direct Cremations;
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials. The containers we provide for our client families are made of composition materials (cardboard). Families have the option of cremation caskets which are designed especially for cremation. Please ask our director for more information if you are interested in this type of service and merchandise.

Direct Cremations;
Our charge for direct cremation with container provided by our funeral home. (All containers must meet the requirements of the crematory. This charge includes;
Removal of remains from place of death.
bathing/handling of remains until time for transportation to crematory.
½ the charge of minimum charge of funeral director & staff.

Our charge for immediate burial without any services is as follows;
Immediate Burial with minimum casket from our funeral home. $3,370.00 Immediate burial with casket/container provided by consumer. $2,375.00 (All caskets/containers provided by consumer must meet state and cemetery requirements.

Alternative Containers;
Alternative Containers range in price from $295.00 - $3895.00 a complete list will be provided at the funeral home.

Caskets:
A complete list will be provided at the funeral home but range in price from $995.00- $4,995.00

Outer Burial containers;
A complete list will be provided at the funeral home but range in price from $1,095.00 - $7,495.00

Cash Advances;
Cash advances are those items that our funeral home pays for you on your behalf in advance. We make no charge for this service. Most common cash advances are listed below but are not limited to;
Opening/closing grave
Vault installation
Death certificates $15.00 for the first and $6.00 for each one after the 1st.
Obituary Notices (Anniston Star requests that obituaries be paid via credit/debit card before announcement is printed)
Honorariums (clergy, musician etc.)
Any and all other items you ask us to include that are not related to our funeral home charges.

Payment Policy of Folsom Funeral Homes.
We are a small business and are dependent upon our client families to pay for services & merchandise when rendered. We ask all families to make payment arrangements prior to funeral services. Listed below are the most common forms of payment;
Cash/check
Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Credit Cards/Debit Cards
Pre-Need funeral arrangements

*Insurance assignments. * Verified insurance policies are always accepted as form of payment; however, due to the delayed processing of claims by insurance companies, we must charge our clients 4.5% of the total funeral cost. This cost will be added to your total funeral account. Also, insurance companies will not verify polices on weekends, therefore, we must delay services until the next business day.

DISCOUNTS
Discounts will be given in the amount of 3% of the total funeral home charges which does not include cash advances if payment in full is made by the day of the service.
