James Monroe McClurg Sr
Mr. James Monroe McClurg Sr., age 80, of Piedmont, passed away January 29, 2012 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Mr. McClurg was born on November 30, 1931, the son of the late Ode & Ermin Boyd McClurg.
Survivors include one son; James McClurg Jr., three daughters; Lois White, Beth Bravo, Jimmie Nell Thorton, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mr. McClurg will be conducted on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. from Folsom Funeral Home’s Heritage Chapel.

James “Dink” McGee
Mr. James “Dink” McGee., age 83, of Borden Springs, passed away February 2, 2012, at his residence in Clebourne County.
A native of Palastine, Alabama, Mr. McGee was born on June 14, 1928, the son of the late Alex and Rachel Wheeler McGee. He was a member of the Isom Church of God and a veteran of the Korean War. He was married on June 10, 1963 to the former Geneva Chapman.
Survivors include his wife Geneva McGee; one daughter; Belinda Brown (Jimmy). Grandchildren; Roger Young (Heather), Derrick Young; Julie Young,Jessica Allen,Josh Brown,(Jessica); Barry Brown, ten great-grandchildren; two brothers; Bobby and Franklin McGee; one sister Caroline Pike and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother John Wayne McGee.
Funeral services for Mr. McGee will be conducted on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 6 p.m. from Folsom Funeral Home’s Heritage Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Kirkpatrick officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday from 4-6 pm.
