Our Answers

Yes. Anyone can pre-arrange their services in advance. We will be glad to assist you with pre-arranging your funeral and cemetery services. Just call and we will set a time to meet with you at your convenience, either in your home or at the funeral home.
Sure. We will be glad to handle the proper paper work in getting your pre-arrangements transferred. We honor all pre-arranged and pre-funded funerals from any funeral home.
No! Embalming is not required by law. It is necessary, however, if a family chooses to have a public viewing and traditonal funeral services with an open casket. If a family chooses cremation, embalming is not required nor is it when a direct burial is chosen.
No. All embalming services are performed at our funeral home right here in Piedmont with the same loving, expert care you would expect from your neighbor.
The social Security Administration will pay $225.00 to persons who are eligible to receive benefits. When someone dies, they must have a surviving spouse, a child under 18 or a disabled child. Certain circumstances apply. Always be prepared to check with the Social Security officials on an individual basis.
Yes. Consumers may purchase any casket or vault from any licensed provider. The Federal Trade Commission prohibits funeral homes from charging "Handling Charges".



Yes. The catalog was designed to ease the emotional pains of making a casket burial vault selection. Our families have chosen merchandise from this booklet and are able to carry it home and show other loved ones the casket and vault that was selected.
Yes. Many families buy spaces ahead of time and we never charge charges or interest.


Embalming is done at our funeral home at 212 Memorial Drive, Piedmont, Alabama. I personally complete the embalming procedures.

The death of a newborn or any child is tragic whatever the circumstances may be.
